The intervention/ treatment program is aimed at practicing the specific goals set collaboratively by the therapist and parents during the previous assessment session.
Our intervention sessions are typically 1 hour long; however, it is to be noted that this can be negotiated at any stage depending on individual circumstances. We strongly believe in the importance of input from parents/carers (teachers or caretakers alike) in this session so that skills learned in the clinic can be practised at home under the guidelines or supervision of the care-takers and parents feel confident with home implementation.
In addition, through our integrative approach, Therapy Point provides at-home and school programs to ensure the child’s needs are being met outside the clinic.
We also offer support to parents and other family members through individual or group counselling and can link our clients with other service providers such as physiotherapists, psychologists, and paediatricians
