At Therapy Point, we are committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining the confidentiality of your personal information.
"Personal Information" refers to any information or opinion that identifies you. This includes assessment results, therapy notes, reports, correspondence, and information from other health professionals.
Therapy Point complies with the Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002 (NSW) and relevant Commonwealth legislation. All staff are trained in these requirements and apply them in practice.
We collect and use your information for the purpose of:
- Delivering therapy services
- Communicating regarding appointments and care
- Liaising with relevant stakeholders (e.g. NDIS, schools, health professionals)
- Meeting legal and regulatory obligations
Your information will only be shared:
- With your written consent; or
- Where required or authorised by law
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, or unauthorised access.
You may request access to your personal information at any time in writing. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Therapy Point may update this Privacy Policy at any time. The latest version will be available on our website.
Terms and Conditions
The Therapy Point website and services are operated by Therapy Point Pty Ltd (ABN 93 153 668 145).
These Terms apply to all clients engaging with Therapy Point services, including bookings made for yourself or on behalf of another individual.
By engaging our services, you agree to the following:
Service Agreement
All services are delivered in accordance with the Therapy Point Service Agreement.
Prior to commencing services, clients must:
- Sign the Service Agreement
- Complete intake documentation
- Provide relevant reports (if applicable)
The Service Agreement outlines:
- Scope of supports
- Fees and billing
- Responsibilities of both parties
- Cancellation and attendance policies
- Consent and information sharing
Bookings and Appointments
- To make a booking, clients must provide accurate contact details including a phone number and email address.
- All new client documentation must be completed prior to the first session.
- An assessment is required before therapy begins unless a recent report (less than 12 months old) is provided.
- Appointment reminders may be sent via SMS or email.
Fees and Payments
Fees are charged in accordance with the current Therapy Point fee schedule and NDIS Pricing Arrangements (where applicable).
Payment Terms
- Payment is due at the time of appointment for private and self-managed clients.
- Third-party payments must be made within 7 days or before the next appointment.
- Failure to pay may result in suspension or cancellation of services.
Therapy Point reserves the right to:
- Suspend services for outstanding accounts.
- Refer unpaid invoices to a debt collection agency if required.
Billable Services
In addition to face-to-face sessions, the following may be billed:
Non-Face-to-Face Supports
Including:
- Session planning and preparation (5 minutes per session)
- Emails, phone calls, and coordination
- Report writing and documentation
- Liaising with schools, carers, or other professionals
Charges:
- Billed in line with NDIS guidelines
- Charged in increments (typically 10 minutes where applicable)
Travel
- Travel time is billed at the therapist's hourly rate
- Mileage is charged per kilometre
Reports and Assessments
- Charged at the applicable hourly rate
- Time varies depending on complexity
All charges will be clearly itemised on invoices.
Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
- Late cancellations or non-attendance will incur 100% of the session fee.
- Fees must be paid within 7 days or prior to the next appointment.
Ongoing Cancellations
- Two consecutive cancellations may result in loss of your regular time slot.
- Frequent cancellations may lead to review, reduced sessions, or service pause.
